Candi is a sociologist, social worker, policy expert, and community organizer with a rich professional background in public office, youth development, advocacy and organizational leadership and development.
Candi is a fierce advocate for racial justice, collective liberation, co-governance, housing as a human right, food as a utility, municipally and consumer-owned utilities and a democratically owned and controlled economy.
Candi is a mom of a toddler and she loves DIY projects, learning new skills, gardening, movies, community activism, museums, being outdoors, traveling and educating her child and others at CreSer--a neighborhood ECE homeschool co-op she recently co-founded.
